Hey I just have a serious question, because I am kinda ignorant inthese matters. I thought that gay women didn't like to be called "d*kes" and gay men didn't like to be called "f*ggots" Or is it something accepted in the gay community? Like black people allowing each other to call each other the N word??
I'm honestly and truly curious.

em hi thanks for the question, i think you just hit the nail on the head we call each other dykes and fags but if a str8 person was to say it, it would be wrong just the N word.

Yes, but my question is why?? If all three wof those words are supposed to be so vile, uncaring, andhorrible, why would you use them? Why take ownership over them, and why demean your fellow gay man/woman with them if you don't like it when a straight man/woman would call you that?

i think its like a right, i mean its like asking a coloured person why they are okay with N from other coloured people.
ah! more accuratly, we use it in a more friendly manner while the majority of the straight people who do use those words mean them in an offensive manner where as we dont.

well, i personnally have never called one of my gay friends a dyke, or a fag,...
i dont know why... i just dont like the word...
but u are rght, among us we do say thing like this, but i think its said in a good way, kind of an entertaining way....
i think its all about the emotion behind it,...if its said in a mean way... or just as a fun way, a joking way or a loving way, like "dykie" but like i said, i dont use it, because i just dont like the words, it feels like labelling to me, and i dont like that, ... belle
Well Fag got and dyke is used widley in the gay comunity but as we all know thats in a friendly way and so is acceptable and in my opinion im not bothered if my str8 friends use it towards me. :)
But ano it can be used in an offensive way by both gay an str8 and even then it would not bother me, although I understand it will offend others.
